Software Developer Intern

Introduction
We are offering internship position for student willing to get experience as full stack developer. The candidate will help coordinating internal IBM process and develop associated web portal to most effectively support the process. The work will include Java programming but also learning front-end technologies and shell scripting.
The intern will work in an experienced agile team fully owning the process and associated software tooling at IBM Software Laboratory in Kraków Poland.

Your Role and Responsibilities
You will work in software licensing tools team which develops applications for monitoring software license usage. The team is also responsible for ensuring that all IBM software products are properly enabled and instrumented for automated license usage reporting.

After training period you will be working with software product teams within IBM to ensure proper usage of the licensing tools. You will also develop new features of the internal web portal which is used to manage the process.

You will work in a motivated agile responsible and experienced team locally but will have opportunity to interact with teams around the world.

The internships are designed with flexibility in mind to allow combining work with studies. Working hours are agreed individually.

This position requires start in January 2024 .

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Good communication skills in English
• High level of responsibility and good organizational skills
• Java or GoLang
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Ability to work in Windows and Linux operating systems
• Willingness to learn and use new technologies

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in developing and testing web applications
• Knowledge of software licensing concepts
