Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Toronto Ontario OR Montreal Quebec and is a 4-month work term commencing May 2024. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

IBM Payments Center an IBM company is a Montreal-based fintech company specializing in end-to-end digital payments to help clients address the aging payments infrastructures used by banks credit unions regulatory agencies and large corporations. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Energy commitment autonomy and motivation;
• Organization and rigor;
• Passion to learn new technologies;
• Robust experience in back-end development;
• Good understanding of front-end development and its integration with APIs;
• Demonstrate innovation in the solutions developed;
• A jack of all trades ready to take on new challenges;
• Programming language: Python Java HTML CSS JavaScript;
• Scripting: Bash / Groovy;
• Databases: SQL & NoSQL;
• Unix/Linux knowledge;
• A clear credit check is a requirement for this role
• Must be eligible to work 4 months starting in May 2024

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Devops knowledge: Jenkins Git software quality tools;
• Skills in Cloud development (AWS nice to have);
• Registered in a formal coop/internship program
