You will be part of:

The Brokerage platform development team, which is responsible for front-end applications and services supporting IBKR's rapidly growing client base

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing and developing brokerage front-end applications and micro-services.
• Working independently while also being a collaborative member of the team.
• Optimizing and refactoring existing code for improved reliability and performance.
• Writing and maintaining design and engineering documentation.

You have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related degree
• One-plus years of Java experience
• Good knowledge of Java 8, Java 11 and Java 17, Concurrency, Object-Oriented concepts, n-tier applications
• Strong analytical skills
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of financial instruments is a plus. If you do not have financial experience, you should have the desire to learn and understand financial instruments and concepts.
