Software Developer, Lead

The Software Developer Lead is a seasoned IT professional with advanced proficiency in the most complex software development efforts, versatile in understanding and breaking down software requirements into workable tasks and possess excellent customer skills. The Software Developer Lead has the skills to collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or extensive revisions for customers, will also serve as the one teams' technical expert on software development, deployment, and maintenance. The Software Developer Lead has the expertise to create high-level software specifications, address problems relating to systems integration and compatibility using the latest technology. The Software Developer Lead will possess a good understanding of OOP/OOD, objects/classes, design concepts and patterns, understand the need and usages of inheritance, interface, polymorphism, and information protection. The Software Developer Lead has the expertise to perform research on the potential project feasibility and present it to management, develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility, able to define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards and successfully communicates all development and deployment concepts and guidelines to the development and any other appropriate teams. The Software Developer Lead will have extensive knowledge to oversee the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design, provide technical guidance, coaching other Software Developers and ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, integrability etc. The Software Developer Lead must be a specialist on complex software development and be able to work independently without supervision. The Software Developer Lead may sometimes assume a team lead role for the work group. The Software Developer Lead must possess a very good knowledge of software development, software requirements, project management, resource management, web infrastructure, and a good sense for information security.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field required.
• 10+ years' experience in software development is required.
• Experience of development in C#.NET is required.
• Experience of developing solutions in a Microsoft environment is required.
• Master's degree in computer science or related technical field preferred.
• 2+ years' experience of working in a Health Care environment preferred.
• Experience of working with continuous integration is a plus.
• Experience of Microsoft SharePoint development/administration is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience of serving as an organization's top-level technical expert on software design/UI, infrastructure, development, and deployment.
• Proficient at creating high-level software specifications, addressing problems relating to systems integration and compatibility by using the latest technology, have a very good knowledge of OOP/OOD, and experience of building a single responsive user interface for all devices.
• Experience of collaborating with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software or extensive revisions for customers.
• Knowledge and experience of performing research on the potential project feasibility and presenting it to management and ability to develop high-level product specifications and feasibility with attention to system integration.
• Knowledge and expertise of defining all the various aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards and successfully communicating all development and deployment concepts and guidelines to the development team.
• Experience of overseeing the progress of development team to ensure consistency with the initial design and provide technical guidance and coaching to Software Developers and analysts.
• Expertise of ensuring that software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, integratibility etc.
• Must have a proven record of being a specialist on complex technical and business matters, able to work independently without supervision and experience of leading major development efforts on a team.
• Knowledge of developing complex software solutions, software analysis and requirements, project management, web infrastructure and a good sense for security and information protection.

Licensure, Registration, and/or Certification:

• Microsoft Software Solutions Development certification is a plus.
• Other software certifications is a plus.
• PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) is a plus.
