Leidos is looking for a Software Developer to support a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Web-based applications. The Software Developer will work with a large team of developers, DevOPS engineers, security engineers, and data engineers. The developer may work on both front-end (UI) and back-end aspects of the systems.

The software developer will be required to carry a duty phone on a rotational basis and may need to come in to address issues that arise.

Primary Responsibilities
•  Knowledge/experience with the development of Cloudformation scripts to generate network and application infrastructure in a repeatable fashion
• Ability to write custom scripts to install and configure code in EC2 instances
• Experience with Python
• Develop Java and Python applications that leverage Neo4j and Elasticsearch
• Ability to Implement NodeJS PM2 for application monitoring and resiliency
• Utilized SAFe agile techniques to manage workload
• Leverage Amazon Web Services
• Experience creating RESTful API

Qualifications
• Must have an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Typically requires a Bachelors and 8+ years of expereince or a Master’s with 6+ years of prior relevant experience. Experience may be used in lieu of degree.
• Strong Java programming skills for Web-based applications
• Experience in working on teams utilizing Agile workflows and processes
• Working knowledge of the Spring framework
• Cloud environments
• Databases: Oracle, Oracle RDS, DynamoDB
• Linux
• Frameworks: Spring Boot, Vue.js, Thymeleaf, Hibernate 
• Additional programming/scripting languages: 
o Groovy, JavaScript, Bash, XML, JSON, YAML, SQL and PL/SQL 
•  Software: 
o GitHub / Git, Apache, Tomcat, ActiveMQ, ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana), CloudFormation, Jenkins, Rundeck, Puppet, NAGIOS

Pay Range:Pay Range $101,400.00 - $183,300.00
