Software Developer Summer Internship

Torch Technologies is seeking Software Developer Summer Technical Interns who will help to build robust virtual software prototypes for government use. The candidate will support software development to meet government customers' needs and implement solutions to address software related requirements for multiple execution environments. The candidate will be part of a team developing, testing, and integrating new and existing modeling and simulation tools. Qualified candidates will work within a collaborative and distributed team environment composed of government and supporting contractor personnel. The candidate will have excellent communication, organizational and technical writing skills.

Job Requirements:

• Working toward a Bachelor of Science or Masterof Science degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited school.
• 0-2 years of industry experience.
• Experience with Windows or Linux operating environments.
• Knowledge of C/C++, JAVA, Python, or other programming languages.

This position requires that candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for this position.
