Job Description

We are seeking a DevOps Developer to join our fast-paced scrum team. Our team designs, builds, tests, deploys, and maintains software tools that support Product Engineering and Business Partners. The technology stack we use is wide ranging and includes AI, Automations, Chatbots and Cloud Computing. In addition to development tasks, DevOps team members are responsible for providing technical support to the end-users when requested. We are currently looking to expand our team’s skill set to include more experience in IBM Watson and to help with the current workload.

Directs, prepares, designs, codes, tests, debugs, and maintains business systems and applications. Works with users to support business applications. Coordinates enterprise application development and planning with other IT disciplines to deliver integrated solutions to business units. Investigates operational problems and evaluates system requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Development of Java Spring Boot web service.
• Development of Python AWS Lambdas
• Requirements gathering of new business objectives.
• Prototyping new technologies
• Providing technical support to end users
• Building test cases to test new features
• Documenting new features

Technical Knowledge/Skills Required:

• 2 + years of experience with software engineering
• 2+ years of experience with Java Spring Boot
• 2+ years of experience SQL Database
• Experiences with AWS 
• Experience with Atlassian Software Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)

Note: Candidate can reside anywhere in the US.
