Your Role and Responsibilities
Join a first-class software engineering product development team to design code test and deliver software supporting and enhancing one of IBM’s most successful enterprise-level cloud solutions using AI techniques and traditional software development methodologies.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for software development with experience using C# .Net Framework Jenkins Microsoft Excel and following Agile methodologies in a continuous delivery environment.
The successful candidate will have a passion for building high-quality innovative and fully performing software in compliance with coding standards and technical design. The candidate will participate in requirements gathering sprint planning design and technical review to support overall achievement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Participate in the design and implementation of sophisticated software systems front end and backend with a focus on C# and .Net development
• Participate in software design and code reviews. Reviews include other Software Engineers and are held to ensure a high level of software quality and to share knowledge with team members
• Participate in and adhere to professional software engineering practices using such tools and methodologies as Agile Software Development Test Driven Development Continuous Integration Source Code Management (git) and GitHub
• Participate in the planning creation and execution of automated test cases and load/performance testing
• Maintain a high level of proficiency with Computer Science/Software Engineering knowledge and contribute to the technical skills growth of other team members
• Work as an Agile scrum team member

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2+ years of experience in Software Programming experience in C#
• Full-cycle (Agile) software development – Analysis design feature execution automation demos support
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science Computer Engineering or Software Engineering
• Familiarity with microservices Docker Kubernetes or other cloud technologies
• Familiarity with REST API concepts
• Fluency in English – both verbal and written

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience in developing .Net applications
• Familiarity with multidimensional databases and OLAP concepts
• Experience using build deployment and development tools like Git Travis Jenkins Yarn/NPM Webpack/Gulp
