Your way to impact

• Lead a team that builds experiences for PayPal customers in 200+ countries. Seeking someone who is motivated, versatile, and hands.
• Responsible for leading and developing a team of skilled engineers.
• Assist with design, implementation and delivering state of the art web.

Your day to day

• Manage a rapidly evolving technology stack on a diverse set of platforms ranging from Java Script, Node.js, HTML5, CSS3, React, Redux, Mobile (iOs/Android), Rest services (Python) and AWS infrastructure.
• Facilitate and driving key technology decisions with senior technology stakeholders.
• Attract retain and build top notch full stack engineering talent.
• Bring innovation to the table that helps in improving the resiliency of products you are responsible for, sell your ideas and be part of the change.
• Seek for continuous improvement in productivity and quality.

What do you need to bring

• 3+ years of experience in managing and growing engineering teams that are responsible for large scale & high-volume websites.
• Experience building and managing highly effective engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, making compensation decisions, and recruiting talent.
• BS/MS in Computer Science with 5+ years of working experience.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript/Node/React, Java, web services (REST/JSON).
• Experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining high performance, high availability, large-scale web applications; Experience with SEO, page optimizations, CDN, Content
• Ability to partner with business units, product management, program management and cross-functional teams to deliver business results with agility and high quality.
