What you will learn and contribute to

Nokia of America Corporation, Software Development Engineer, Cloud and Network Services (Multiple Positions), Sunnyvale, CA. Design, develop, and maintain protocol software for mobility gateway products, including control plane software for IP and wireless network-related technologies. Design and develop software features that are aligned with software requirement specifications defined by product marketing teams. Develop software products that run on real-time operating systems. Communicate with software, hardware, development, test, and product marketing teams in order to facilitate software releases. Review test plans and infrastructure for adequacy, completeness and correctness. Enhance existing software framework to develop feature design with the goal of ensuring performance optimization. Analyze results of software tests and interact with test engineers, architects, project managers, and designers to identify software solutions. Troubleshoot complex software systems, packet analyzers, and general customer issues. Maintain developed software and provide support and technical assistance, and mentor junior Software Engineers.#LI-DNI

Your skills and experience

SALARY RANGE: $132,755 - $234,780 per year

WORK SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related field and 5 years of post-Bachelor's progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 5 years of experience with the following: Programming languages, including C, C++, or Python; Networking Software Development; Data Structures & Algorithms; Operating Systems Linux or Unix; Database Design; Software Version Control Systems, including CVS, GIT, or ACME.

Telecommuting from a location within commuting distance of Sunnyvale, CA may be permitted up to 40%, depending on business need.
