What you'll be doing

As the software development SME, you’ll help bring complex solutions to life, working with a global project team (Squad) inclusive of contributors from Clinical Study Design, Software Quality Assurance, Data Delivery, and more, with responsibilities for:

• Managing the development lifecycle for complex solutions (including planning and deployment scheduling) using Waterfall methodology

• Developing complex, scientific, mobile-web applications – (JavaScript/Java/HTML/CSS) - and developing/integrating project specific databases – (SQL) - according to complex study specifications and carrying out unit testing.

• Regularly consulting with the project team on capabilities & limitations of solutions, contributing to the development of specifications and to feature design ideas

• Update and improve the functionality of standard libraries and development of semi-custom implementations for specific clients

• Where necessary, work with other Clario COE’s (such as precision motion) in developing/integrating other solutions applicable to study requirements

What we're looking for

• Minimum BSc in computer sciences or related field (or equivalent, professional experience & training)

• 2-5 Years' Full stack enterprise web application development experience with solid programming skills in JavaScript, JAVA, CSS, XML, HTML5, SQL

• Demonstrable full lifecycle software development experience, from specification to delivery and experience working in a cross-functional, source control, Waterfall environment

• An independent, responsible individual who can rapidly develop quality applications

• Ability to learn quickly, work in a team environment, and demonstrate a quality attitude

• Strong interest in the application of innovative technology to the clinical trials process, which enables our customers to develop life changing therapies

• Ability to manage tasks simultaneously

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
