Who You Are:

Platform Science is seeking a Software Developer to join our new team and work on both Laravel and Vue codebases. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of supporting our web platform and have the opportunity to grow and expand your skills. As a key member of our team, you will have the chance to make a significant impact on the solutions we offer. We are looking for someone who is passionate about software development and is ready to take on new challenges.

Day-to-day for this role includes: 

• Working across different teams to understand needs in core API or UI solutions
• Deep diving with senior engineers and product managers on a complex solution
• Reviewing code, mentoring and being mentored, and working with leadership on improving core functions of our technology

Experience

• 3+ years experience
• Experience in frontend frameworks such as Vue, Angular, or React
• Familiarity with PHP and Laravel
• Experience with git, code review, and Jira/bug tracking systems
• Experience with SQL, querying and exploring databases
• Expected to travel to HQ for team meetings from time to time
• Excited to learn new skills and technologies
• Strong collaboration and communication skills

Our job titles for each posting may span across more than one job level. The estimated base salary for this role is between $95,698 and $165,000. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target range for new hire base salaries across all US locations. Compensation packages are based on many factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, work experience, relevant trainings and certifications, business needs, market demands and specific geographical location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
