We are seeking a full-time Software Development Engineer who is part of a dynamic engineering team working to develop healthcare products that enhance patient care, safety and caregiver workflow. Position Location: HYBRID Portland, OR

As the Software Development Engineer, your contributions to the team will include:

• Work as part of a dynamic software team to support multi-generation software product platforms to maintain relevant, compliant software products with all computing devices and operating systems
• Develop new software products using modern development tools (.NET, C#, VB.NET, etc., Telerik, SQL Server, Web API, Azure cloud development, etc.)
• Manage software projects; including software specification, UI design, testing/approval
• Troubleshoot existing software products to identify bugs as well as remedy
• Work alongside Field Service to diagnose software installation and/or performance issues and maintain a solid record of needs
• Application testing; including basic validation and regression testing
• Support software implementation, deployment and support activities

What we ask of you:

• Required: BS Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent
• Preferred: 4 years of industry experience

Experience with:

• Object Oriented Programming Concepts
• Microsoft .NET Framework and C#
• ASP.NET, HTML5 and MVC
• Service Oriented Architecture, Web Services and WCF
• JavaScript, jQuery
• SQL Server database development and management

Familiarity with:

• Azure, Entity Framework, ADO.Net, LINQ
• WPF or Winform development
• VB.NET
• Software architecture design
• Application-level programming interfacing with firmware/devices
• Software project management experience
• Software specification experience
• User Interface/User Experience design experience
• Software validation and regression testing
• Software implementation / launch experience
