Software Development Engineer (Hardware)

About You:

• You enjoy designing and building embedded (Linux) systems
• You like to work independently on problems and learn in the process
• You like working in an interdisciplinary and diverse team 

What skills do I need?

• Experience with a systems language (i.e., C, C++, Rust)
• Experience with shell scripting and command line environments
• Interest or experience in an OS build system (Yocto, Buildroot, Android)
• Familiarity with an interpreted language (eg, Javascript, Elixir, Python)
• Familiarity with common hardware buses and devices (eg, I2C, SPI, PCIE)

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and add bootloader and kernel patches on Tulip hardware
• Code and integrate Tulip software into the Tulip OS
• Port the Tulip OS to other hardware targets
• Maintain and support OS toolchain and versioning

• Hardware and Software engineers on the Hardware team

• Product Management
