About the Role

Join the PayZapp Payments Team at Zeta, where innovation meets impact. Our team handles UPI, Cards, and Tap & Pay payments, processing millions of UPI transactions daily. With over 10 million app downloads, we're powering the largest private bank in India. As an iOS Developer, you'll work with cutting-edge technologies like Flows, Coroutines, and Compose, embracing modern design patterns like MVVM Clean Architecture and Backend for Frontends (BFFs). Delivering an “AHA!” experience to our customers is our motto!

Responsibilities

• Native iOS Application Development: Develop, release, and maintain high-quality, scalable native iOS applications.
• Backend for Frontend Development: Develop release and maintain high-quality, scalable backend for frontend.
• Full App Life Cycle Management: Drive the entire app life cycle, from design and development to deployment, testing, release on app stores, and ongoing support.
• Bug Fixing and Performance Improvement: Identify and resolve bugs, continuously improving application performance for a superior user experience.
• Technology Exploration and Implementation: Stay at the forefront of industry trends, exploring and implementing new technologies to enhance development efficiency.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize application performance, ensuring smooth and responsive user interfaces.

Skills

• Technical Proficiency: Expertise in Swift, Cocoa framework, AutoLayout, UIKit, Xcode, core animations, core data, Apple Push notifications, and overall iOS app development.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve development challenges.
• Memory Management: Solid understanding of memory management in iOS, with experience using instruments to detect memory leaks.
• Adherence to Coding Guidelines: Follow Apple's recommended coding guidelines and best practices.
• Design Patterns Mastery: Familiarity with design patterns such as MVC, MVVM, and Coordinator.
• Networking and Multithreading: Knowledge of iOS networking concepts and multithreading for efficient data communication and responsive app behavior.
• Awareness of Latest Technologies: Up-to-date with the latest iOS technologies, with bonus points for knowledge of Flutter.

Experience and Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in iOS development.
• Proficient in unit and UI testing.
• In-depth understanding of Swift.
• Hands-on experience with table views, scroll views, stack views, delegates, notifications, operations, and GCD.
• Published one or more iOS apps in the app store.
