Software Development Engineer III Full stack (Quillbot)

Ideal Candidate

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong urge to get things done.
• Technologist at heart who also cares about the users.
• 5+ years of strong hands-on development experience on web and mobile technologies.
• 5+ years of solid experience on JavaScript-based stacks (React, Node, Typescript, etc.) and Python (LangChain, flask, transformers, etc.).
• Stong expertise in Cloud architecture and deployment (GCP / AWS) and/or Linux experience (nginx, haproxy, / bash). 
• Strong hold on database technologies (MongoDB, Elastic, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid hold on data structures and algorithms.
• Significant contributions towards an open source project will be a great plus.
• Experience working in the AI/ML domain is a plus.
• Experience with analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Amplitude, Mixpanel) is a plus.

Job Responsibilities 

• Develop prototypes from zero to one: develop the code (front-end and backend) starting from scratch, deploy it, check analytics numbers, and improve based on the analytics numbers and user feedback.
• Once the prototype is finished, hand it over to a team that will turn it into a scalable production system and start working on the next prototype.
• Totally understand and contribute to the road map.

Must Have:

• Extensive hands-on experience in full-stack development, with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
