Software Development Engineer in Test

ABOUT THE ROLE
Peloton's Quality Engineering team is looking for experienced, well-rounded Software Development Engineer In Test (SDET) to work on our award-winning Peloton products - Peloton Bike & Peloton Tread. In this role, you will directly take responsibility for the quality of the product and work closely with Software/Hardware developers, Product Management and help teams cultivate a quality mindset, coach and advocate for quality while assisting teams with software testing practices.Ā
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
- Implement test tools and frameworks that will help us release with confidenceĀ
- Work with teams to understand test automation gaps and implement coverageĀ
- Work with teams to make testing an integral part of the software development process
- Coordinate testing efforts across teams to ensure delivery of high-quality features
- Assist in driving adoption of best practices in testing and maintainabilityĀ
- Assist in mentoring and coachingĀ
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with test automationĀ
- Solid understanding of object-oriented concepts with any OO languagesĀ
- Solid understanding of GITĀ
- Experience working with engineers to collaborate on test automation scenarios ā Experience interacting with REST API for test data setup or testingĀ
- Experience working in a CI environment (Jenkins/GitHub Actions)Ā
- Experience working with cross-functional scrum teamsĀ
- Ability to accomplish complex engineering task independentlyĀ
BONUS:Ā
- Hands on experience with mobile automation tools such as Appium, Espresso
- Hands on experience with setting up and configuring Jenkins or CircleCI or GitHub Actions
- Hands-on Visual testing with screen-shot-test-for-androidĀ
- Experience interacting with REST API for test reporting
Base Salary: $101,200.00 Ā to $131,500.00
The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
