Software Development Engineer in Test

Two Six Technologies is seeking an experienced Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to work on an emerging cyberspace capability. The SDET will be primarily responsible for helping to develop and maintain automated end-to-end, integration, and performance tests.The SDET works closely with the development and field operations teams.

Responsibilities Include:

Performs software product testing and investigates possible causes of problems.
Develops functional, end-to-end, regression, and performance tests in automated test environments.
Detects and writes software bug reports and feature requests.
Understands, reproduces, troubleshoots product defects and works with developers to determine the best resolution.
Assists in the planning and implementation of testing new features.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years practical experience in software testing and Quality Assurance
Minimum of 3 years of experience with automated testing and frameworks: Selenium, Java, TestNG
Minimum of 1 year of experience using Git, Jenkins, and various Continuous Integration tools
Minimum of 1 year of experience with Linux OS

Nice to Have:

Familiarity with JavaScript and/or Python, and basic debugging
Familiarity with other browser automation libraries: Cypress, Playwright, Puppeteer
Experience with basic database technologies and software
Solid grasp of technical writing and documentation in relation to software development
Strong communication skills and desire to work independently in a fast paced environment
Familiarity with Docker and technologies around scalable infrastructure such as Docker Swarm, Kubernetes, and AWS
Experience working on and refining software release processes, workflows, and schedules
Experience refining low-level testing scripts using Bash, NodeJS, etc.

Must be a US Citizen and wiling to undergo Secret Security investigation
