Software Development Engineer in Test (Mobile)

Allegion is looking for a Software Developer in Test who is passionate about testing and developing creative automated testing solutions for our state of the art connected devices.

What You Will Do:

• Working with a hardworking team of Developers and QA engineers
• Crafting and designing a range of automated testing platforms and frameworks that will ultimately reduce defects, improve quality and enable delivery of high-quality software faster
• Building numerous functional automated tests scripts for our iOS and Android mobile application
• Crafting automated tests for mobile applications using testing tools like Appium or SeeTest
• Help on defining strategies for automated functional testing as part of Sprints
• Translating functional requirements and acceptance criteria into automated tests

What You Need to Succeed:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in software testing
• Experience in testing mobile SDKs
• Experience in building numerous automated functional test scripts for native mobile apps using an Object-Oriented Programming language - java or C#, etc.
• Experience in building automated tests with a strong focus on the automation of CI Builds for Azure DevOps
• 2 years of Agile SCRUM experience
• Are passionate about testing software and are constantly striving to make software testing more consistent, efficient and reliable
• Clear written and oral communication skills

Bonus points for:

• Experience in API testing using tools like Postman, Specflow
• Experience with android / iOS SDK testing

Compensation: This range is provided by Allegion. Your actual salary will be based on your skills and experience, along with other factors.

• The expected Base Salary Range: $67,800 - $126,000. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
