About the Team

Workday is leading Enterprise Cloud Applications provider developing and deploying a wide range of business applications. The Object Management Services (OMS) Metadata team owns and handles the lifecycle of Workday Metadata Platform, one of the key components at the core of the stack. About the Role

As a member of this team you’ll work with innovative and experienced engineers to work on the foundation of the Metadata Platform which enables the “Power of One”. You will take on the challenge of improving platform capabilities and scaling it to meet growing business needs while minimizing operational cost.
Responsibilities

• Develop test plans comprising detailed and well-structured test cases
• Experience with Performance, Load, Stress, and Scalability Testing
• Improve automation test suites for regression-free continuous delivery
• Analyze and address production issues while bringing back lessons to improve existing test plans
• Collaborate with multi-functional teams to test real world test scenarios while delivering platform improvements
• Facilitate in the prioritization of QA efforts to align with the priorities outlined by product management and development

About You

Basic Qualifications:

• 4 years of testing large scale systems
• 4 Years of experience with CI/CD pipeline
• 4 Years of object-oriented design and programming with Java

Other Qualifications:

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Math, or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Proven track record of working in multi-functional teams and agile delivery
• Experience in Observability stack such as WaveFront, Solas, ELK, Grafana, Splunk
• Internal candidates: Solid understanding of XO, WATS and WARP technologies, SkyLab

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. Workday pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Workday Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants. Recruiters can share more detail during the hiring process. Each candidate’s compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, geography, experience, skills, job duties, and business need, among other things. Primary Location Base Pay Range: $116,000 USD - $174,000 USD

Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $110,200 USD - $199,000 USD
