Software Development Engineer (Java/Node JS)

Overview:

You will join a collaborative team that focused on consumer-facing web and mobile conversational experiences, working on important items and projects around scaling the platform and service.

• Build the platform that serves the real-time monitoring needs of our customers
• Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications for important systems and delivering high-availability and performance
• Design complex high-performance backend services using Java / Node Js
• Develop technical specifications and documentation
• Debug production issues and help maintain existing code
• Participate in on-call rotations

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 10 years of software development experience
• Strong programming skills in Java / Node Js
• Experience with MultiThreading / Asynchronous programming / Performance challenges
• Experience working with public cloud platforms like AWS / GCP
• Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL) like Cassandra, MySQL
• Experience in Kubernetes
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other Development tools
• Experience debugging/testing applications
• Experience building RESTful microservices
• Familiar with basic DevOps tasks for deploying applications in dev/test environments
