Job Description

We are looking for a Software Development Intern at our Shared Services Software Team. This is a dedicated, nimble, and agile dev team that designs and develops architecturally significant shared platforms and tools. Our intern will work with an Enterprise Architect to add capabilities to the next generation Test Driven Development (TDD) tool that will enhance productivity, code quality and time to deliver through automation of tests and deployment using state of the art frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the minimum requirements outlined below)
  • Familiarity with one or more widely used programming language (i.e. Java, C++, C#, Python etc.)
  • Exposure to any source control and automation systems (i.e. Git Hub, Azure DevOps etc.) through college or personal projects.
  • Passion for automation or robotics

Job Responsibilities
  • Be part of an agile team responsible for developing and enhancing shared enterprise services and tools
  • Collaborate with other highly skilled architects, developers, and engineers. This is a rare opportunity to learn from and experienced mentor.
  • Grow expertise and utilize programming languages such as C#, and Java to build and enhance shared services tools and workflows.
  • Learn Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Minimum Requirements:
  • Eligible candidates must be one of the following:
    • Part-time or full-time students who have completed 24+ credit hours (rising sophomores/juniors/seniors) and are enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited college or university
    • Part-time or full-time students enrolled in a graduate program at an accredited college or university
    • May 2023 graduate
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and maturity in the workplace
  • Effective communicator in both written and spoken English
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in use of MSOffice Suite
  • 3.0 GPA or above preferred

Summer Intern Program Description:
  • 12 weeks starting on Monday, May 22nd, 2023 through August 11 th , 2023
  • Schedule - 40 hours/week, Monday- Friday, 9 - 5 or regular core hours
  • Hybrid environment (minimum 2 days in office location)
