ADTRAV is seeking a highly motivated Software Development Manager that is excited about creating robust software solutions and enjoys leading teams to success. The right person will be confident in their contributions and have a demonstrated history of technical leadership resulting in positive business outcomes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work directly with the engineering teams to ensure quality and delivery
• Provide technical and architectural guidance

• Promote professional and technical development within the department
• Work with the team to provide effort estimates for projects
• Advocate for code hygiene, security, and technical debt
• Participate in technical steering meetings
• Manage direct reports across multiple teams

• Work with offshore and nearshore contractors
• Ensure adherence to SDLC processes and standards
• Present cost benefit analysis research to executive management
• Measure and report KPI metrics

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree and/or 10+ years of software development experience
• Minimum 3 years in leadership role (team lead, tech lead, architect, )
• Demonstrated ability to provide oversight to multiple projects with highly variable scopes
• Proven track record of leadership resulting in positive business outcomes
• Belief that the role of management is to support the team

• "Can do" problem solving mentality, while still respecting standards, quality, and security

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Microsoft technology stack (Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL, IIS)
• Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, Microsoft ASP.NET, MVC
• Database proficiency

• Excellent soft skills (organization, communication, presentation)
• Ability to break down large problems into component parts for planning
• Ability to motivate team and achieve technical buy-in on initiatives

ADDITIONAL PREFERRED SKILLS:

• Experience with Blazor, UX/UI Design, .Net 5/6, Entity Framework

• Experience working on a SAAS product
• Cloud Experience
• Certifications
• Strong Agile/SCRUM knowledge
• Experience managing direct reports
