Your Role and Responsibilities
This role spans a number of responsibilities.
As a Software Development Manager you will:

• Manage the team’s product delivery schedule: planning prioritizing tracking risk management and status reporting.
• Manage the quality security and stability of the features developed and ensuring clear product documentation is generated.
• Work closely with Design Engineering and Product Management to implement backlog prioritization and coordinate the release plan.
• Identify communicate and implement improvements in the work process for customers and the team.

As a Personnel Manager you will

• Help nurture and grow the career of your team providing technical leadership mentoring and coaching to enable each team member to perform.
• Grow key technical skill on the team to ensure the squad is equipped appropriately and foster a healthy team culture of engaged employees.
• Determine staff compensation levels within corporate guidelines.
• Set performance goals manage and evaluate the performance of each team member to drive a high performance culture.

As the product Release Manager you will:

• Identify and manage both technical and containment risks. Communicate clearly on issues and challenges if any.
• Coordinate dependencies across other functional departments and stakeholders.

As the product Support Manager you will:

• Proactively manage customer support requests and complaints with a goal of improving customer satisfaction.
• Implement staffing plans and processes to deliver exemplary support our customers.
• Coordinate the resolution of issues across other support departments and stakeholders.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 10+ years of experience in technology space with at least 4-5 years of relevant team management experience delivering Cloud technologies.
• Experience of leading Software product development teams with responsibilities including planning backlog prioritization delivery tracking risk management and status reporting. Ownership of the full end-to-end release cycle and ability to understand technical issues and manage project risk.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work across all aspects of engineering – Development QA DevOps and Support
• Technical Skills – Good awareness and understanding of Cloud technologies including Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes.
• Experience of leading teams across the design development and architecture of product and the ability technical risks within the delivery plan
• Experience with managing multi-disciplined teams of Developers Testers DevOps and Support engineers.
• Prior experience of working in agile teams using scrum methodologies and developing in iterations.
• Personnel management experience with the ability to motivate and build strong relationships across the team whilst managing individual performance expectations.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Experience of working in a Software Development role building enhancing and supporting products where performance security scalability and reliability are paramount.
• Awareness of Event Driven Architectures and key technologies including Apache Kafka and Apache Flink.
• Technical Skills – Hands on experience with Kubernetes Containerization CI/CD delivery pipelines and REST APIs.
• Demonstrated project management skills in the management and delivery of projects.
