Job Duties and Responsibilities

The Software Development Manager III leads the Retail Wireless Core Technology group in scaling and maintaining critical microservices that power a high-growth platform. This role is responsible for bridging the gap between complex BSS/OSS architectures and seamless customer experiences while driving innovation through automation and modern cloud practices. By managing technical roadmaps and fostering a culture of excellence this leader ensures the team overcomes engineering bottlenecks to deliver robust high-availability wireless solutions.

  • Expertise in architecting event-driven microservices using Java Spring Boot and Kafka within AWS environments

  • AI literacy and the ability to implement AI-assisted development workflows to enhance team productivity and code quality
  • Professional mastery of capacity planning and strategic roadmap creation to ensure efficient resource allocation

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • Minimum Experience: 5 years of experience in a technical management role
  • Required Technical Skills: Must have at least 3 years of experience with:
    • Java/J2EE and Spring/SpringBoot
    • Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka)
    • Amazon Web Services (AWS)
    • RESTful APIs and API Management tools

Salary Ranges
Compensation: $110100.00/Year - $165000.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
