We are currently seeking a SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT SENIOR ANALYST to join our team in Providence, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provides detailed technical design and development of software solutions using existing and emerging technology platforms.
• Proposes & designs software solutions to address complex business needs.
• Writes code, tests and deploys software.
• Prepares technical and procedural documentation required for software.
• Maintains and debugs software.
• Help maintain code quality, organization standards.
• Self-starter, self-motivated with aptitude to self-train and adapt to new market trends, requirements, and ideas.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and communication skills & Ability to communicate at a business and technical level
• Diversified Experience in Requirement Analysis, Design Documentation, Development, Testing, Implementation, Performance Tuning, Production Support and Maintenance.

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience developing and maintaining Mainframe Cobol, CICS, JCL applications
• Minimum 3 years of development experience using DB2
• Knowledge and work experience in Progeni & Forte
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline

Nice to Haves:

• Good in SQL and able to edit and create SQL statements and Stored Procedures.
• Knowledge and experience in Batch, Online, Queues and Webservices in Mainframes

• Working experience with teams spread across the US and Offshore
