Responsibilities

IGT is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and hard-working Software Engineer. Become a part of Vibe Studio located in lovely Reno, Nevada, where our dedicated team delivers innovative games to players around the world.

This is an opportunity to work in a studio that creates high-performing and well-known video casino games. As a Software Engineer you will combine technical expertise and creativity to bring the vision of mathematicians, artists, and sound designers to market. Further, you will contribute to the technical direction of the studio - by implementing and testing innovative tools & techniques to improve product quality and reduce time-to-market. Candidates must have a passion for game development, continuous improvement, software quality, and effective communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of professional software development experience
• 2+ years of experience in C#/C++
• 1+ years of experience with Unity3D or equivalent
• Experience in Object-Oriented design and implementation
• Self-motivated and team-orientated with a passion for developing high-quality games
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross functional teams
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Familiarity with scripting languages
• Gaming industry experience a plus

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $50,000 - $101,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
