Job Description

Job Summary

Develop and test software on multiple instrumentation platforms (Panther System, Panther Fusion System) and a menu of assays (Aptima STIs, Aptima Virology, Panther Fusion Respiratory) for our automated molecular diagnostic instruments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

• Software development
• Code Review
• Unit and acceptance testing
• Root cause analysis and defect resolution
• Documentation
• Participate in Agile scrum and retrospectives
• Use company design and development processes

Qualifications

Education

• BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent

Experience

• 0-1 year of experience

Skills

• Technologies: Object Oriented Programming Language, C# preferred
• Tools: Experience with Visual Studio preferred, Experience with version control tools
• Knowledge of Unit Test frameworks a plus.
• Knowledge of multithreaded UI development a plus
• Knowledge of Design Patterns a plus
• Knowledge of Entity Framework a plus
