Software Engineer 1

MANDATORY SKILLS: A TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph is required for this role.

Seven (7) years experience as a SWE, in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelors degree.

Experience with Linux operating systems to include installing, configuring and troubleshooting

OPTIONAL SKILLS: Experience providing user support and resolving Tier-1 service desk tickets

Strong ability to troubleshoot issues

Willingness to learn quickly and complete tasks as part of a team

Familiar with DevOps and CI/CD practices

Experience with Linux operating systems to include installing applications, configuring, and troubleshooting(yum list, yum update, etc)

Experience or knowledge of GitLab or similar tools

Experience of knowledge of Mattermost or similar tools

Experience with AWS, including EC2 and RDS

Experience with PostgreSQL Databases and PGAdmin

Familiar with help desk services such as Jira Service Desk

Experience or knowledge of container-orchestration and management solutions, including, but not limited to Docker and Kubernetes

Experience or knowledge of infrastructure as code solutions, such as Terraform

Strong communication skills
