How you'll make your mark?
GreenLake Cloud Platform development team is seeking a Software Engineer who thrives on a challenging and fast-paced environment. The focus of this position will be to design, develop software in a highly efficient manner, with high performance and drive solutions to their problems. On this team you will apply advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues. You will frequently contribute to the development of new ideas and methods. Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of multiple factors. Provide expertise to functional project teams and may participate in cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all stages of design and development for products and platforms, including solution design, analysis, coding, testing, and integration.
- Works with development partners on software systems design and development.
- Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with systems design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
- Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software systems opinion and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- May seek advice in order to make decisions on complex business issues.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically, 2-4 years of experience.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Have worked on LINUX as development environment as well as debugging application/system/performance issues
- Hands on experience on Kubernetes, Docker.
- Proficient in Python or Golang.
- Well versed with networking concepts.
- Knowledge of horizontally scalable, clustered enterprise solution
- Basic knowledge of Virtualization and RDBMS concepts.
- Knowledge of Management/Monitoring Systems i.e. NMS, EMS or other enterprise monitoring tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
