Responsibilities:

This role will be responsible for designing, developing and supporting our drilling automation system ( NOVOS ).
As an Agile team member, you will work in a continuous integrated system, review peer's code, and become a trusted dependable teammate.

• Contribute and maintain an existing code base
• Collaborate with leads, developers, product managers and collaborative products to architect, implement and build robust new features
• Write clean and efficient code
• Peer reviews
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• 1 or more years of work experience working in a collaborative environment.
• Position is onsite located in Houston, TX.
• Some experience with high level programming (C++, C# or similar)
• Comfortable on command line and Linux environment
• Good understanding of algorithms and data structures as well as Source Version Control concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to both collaborate with team members and to work independently
