Job Summary:

Supermicro is seeking software engineer with hands-on experience to design and implement web-based products. As a Software Engineer, you will be leveraging your expert technical knowledge and past implementation experience in designing and building our new cloud solutions based on latest industry cloud software development technologies such in LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, Python, Mysql, etc).

Your role will be to design, implement and software products for enterprise-scale requirements and lead its initial adoption across a range of use cases. You will be responsible for managing the lab hardware, and software development - hence you will need excellent understanding of infrastructure operations as well as tools and patterns used in an agile development, continuous delivery environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):

• Build web-based tools using Python, MySQL
• Understanding of structured databases such as MySQL and unstructured object storage
• Understand technologies such as Kubernetes / CEPH / VMWare
• Manage the hardware in the lab

Qualifications:

• BS or MS in CS/CE/EE
• 3+ years of programming using Python, MySQL, etc
• Working knowledge in using ELK stack

• Experience with Agile development tools (Jira, Git)
• Confident presenter, and strong influencer; able to adapt level and style to the audience

Salary Range

$78,000 - $153,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
