Routefusion's API enables neo-banks, payroll providers, platforms, and marketplaces to begin offering cross-border payments to their customers in as quickly as two days. With a single integration to our API, customers gain access to several banking and FX providers. Routefusion was founded in 2018 by Colton Seal and Richard Scappaticci and is based in Austin, TX. As of January 2022, the company has closed over $14.1 million in funding co-led by Canvas Ventures and Silverton Partners with participation from Haymaker Ventures, Initialized Capital, Sherwin Gandhi (co-founder of Jeeves), and Aldrin Clement (co-founder of Novel Bank).

Role Overview:

We are looking for a Software Engineer to produce and implement functional software solutions. You will work with upper management to define software requirements and take the lead on operational and technical projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and own roadmap projects from A to Z

• Work with Product and Director of Engineering to identify requirements and design solutions;

• Develop high-quality software & architecture that is aligned with user needs and business goals;

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to build, improve, and fix products;

• Share technical support responsibility with the team.

• Integrate with multiple partners to move funds around the globe

• Work on a GraphQL API

• Design asynchronous workflows to keep our customers moving

Ideal Candidate:

• In-depth knowledge of the following technologies: Javascript, Node.js, HTTP, Pub/Sub, Postgres;

• In-depth understanding of Web API standards such as REST, and GraphQL;

• Extensive knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;

• Maintain a “Team first” mentality;

• Motivation to grow and win, individually and as part of a team.
