Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Management Excellence:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, assess, and rectify data wrangling and broken data processes from previous implementations.
• Design and implement robust data management strategies to optimize data workflows and ensure data accuracy and consistency.

2. Database Expertise:

• Utilize your in-depth knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases to develop efficient and scalable data solutions.
• Work closely with the Data Engineering team to enhance database schema, query performance, and overall data structure.

3. Typescript Development:

• Leverage your expertise in TypeScript to develop, maintain, and enhance backend applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
• Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and maintenance.

4. Collaborative Problem Solving:

• Actively participate in code reviews, share insights, and collaborate with team members to solve complex technical challenges.
• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand data-related requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.

5. Continuous Improvement:

• Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies related to data management and TypeScript development.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing processes and systems to drive efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on TypeScript.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience optimizing database performance.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying and resolving data-related issues in complex applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

• Functional experience with Microservice Architectures
• Functional experience with Docker
• Familiarity with "Twelve-Factor app" principles
• Strong software testing skills (TDD, BDD, etc)
• Familiarity with data modeling and schema design.
