We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 2 in San Jose, CA

Job Duties: Design, develop and deploy software applications following best practices of accessibility, internationalization and instrumentation. Build software products and build customer facing applications which enable developers and merchants to integrate PayPal APIs. Work on the back end of developer paypal.com and make sure the server side APIs are in place along with taking care of database issues. Develop automated unit, integration and functional test suites. Write functional and unit tests as and when required for an overall testing of the application and any new functionalities added. Perform release for an updated version to be available to the users every week. Telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.

 Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field.

Additional Job Description:

Base salary: $146,307.00-176,000.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
