Software Engineer

Torch Technologies is seeking talented engineers, scientists, and mathematicians with artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) expertise. Our team is leveraging advanced machine learning techniques to provide innovative solutions for the Army's most complex missile defense challenges. Development and testing are accomplished using a suite of high-fidelity missile defense models and simulations. Our engineers have the unique opportunity to witness their solutions integrated with tactical systems and assessed in real-world live fire test events.

Job Requirements

Required experience:

• C/C++, Java, or Python
• Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques
• Problem solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited school and 5 or more years of professional development experience.

Desired experience:

• Modeling and Simulation architectures
• DoD software development
• Team-based Software Development Tools (Git, GitLab, etc.)
• Object-Oriented Design
