Software Engineer

Description

Tyler Technologies is looking for a Software Engineer in Latham, NY. Position requires the following:

Job duties include: Collaborate to refine requirements, design and create solutions which target defined business needs. Contribute to and validate software design scheme and models. Follow coding standards and best practices. Write and maintain application code for functionality. Participate in and conduct code reviews. Maintain existing application programs by fixing bugs or clearing up operational deficiencies in both previously released software and software slated for future release. Assure program, module and system integrity through thorough testing and adherence to company standards and procedures. Work through all phases of the software development life cycle, including research, design, analysis, requirements, implementation, test automation, and maintenance. Utilize new technologies and tools to modify products and provide integration with applications developed internally and externally. Working from home for up to 2 days per week is an option; must work in the office three days per week.

Applicant must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field or foreign equivalent and 2 years of experience in C#, MS SQL Server 2016, ASP.NET MVC 5 and Web API 2, JavaScript, jQuery.
