The Opportunity

• Continually improving and adding new features to the front-end and back-end of MFour Studio (Client facing application). Working closely with the data team to integrate their latest features/products.
• Create reusable, scalable code with good design principles and practices.
• Collaborate as part of a Scrum team (2-week sprints, daily standups, sprint grooming, sprint planning, etc).
• Participate in code reviews and design reviews.
• Update development team on challenges, progress and outcomes of projects

Qualifications

• Strong client side (SPA) development skills and experience using React, Node, NPM, Typescript, Javascript, CSS, Redux, etc.
• Experience building RESTful API using Node, Typescript, Javascript, oAuth, etc.
• Experience with testing and debugging for different browsers
• Understand common best practices, OOP design principles and unit testing.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging code across both front-end and back-end.
• Be a quick study and expand your knowledge as needed

Bonus Skills

• Knowledge of PHP and Laravel
• Manipulating tables in MySQL/Postgres using direct queries or a query builder
• Experience deploying and maintaining software in cloud-based platforms.
