We are looking for a Software Engineer proficient in:

• 5+ years experience in the full lifecycle of software products from requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance
• Building scalable realtime multi-cloud hosted software services involving Kubernetes, GCP, Azure, AWS
• Backend systems including Realtime search (Elasticsearch), Database (PostgreSQL), Datawarehouse (Snowflake,...), Cloud storage (S3, ...)
• High Dimensional data interpretation and visualization systems (Mode, Tableau, Apache Superset, Nivo, Plotly)
• General purpose data science and bioinformatics specific compute engines (Airflow, Prefect, Argo, …)
• External Apis based on (gRPC, Graphql, REST, JSON, FastAPI, …)
• Nice to have - Domain knowledge in life sciences
  • NGS (next generation sequencing ) data formats (e.g. BAM, FASTQ, ) and Data pipelines (WGS, Broad GATK, …)
  • Clinical data standards (FHIR), EMR integrations with hospital systems
  • Wet Lab Process engineering - lab assay data collection, QC, Process monitoring, ELNs

The estimated base salary for this role ranges from $170,000 - $215,000 USD, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's skills, qualifications and experience.
