Job Description Summary:

PayPal, Inc. seeks Software Engineer 3 in La Vista, Nebraska to work as part of the development team to support existing applications that have been developed for the Customer Service team. Develop new features for the existing software applications across the full spectrum of .Net applications, from desktop apps, Windows Services, web apps, JavaScript, and Electron framework. Walk products through the software development life cycle, from specification through delivery. Migrate old software code to new technologies and software architecture to take advantage of latest technologies. Research, analyze, design, develop, and test the solutions that are appropriate for the business and technology strategies. Drive architecture discussions, produce well-documented design docs, and participate in design and code reviews. Ensure code quality and maintainability by evolving architecture and tech stack, refactoring, standards and improving build and test systems. Estimate engineering efforts, plan execution cycles, and rollout system changes. Convert large quantities of data into actionable information to create high quality, low latency applications and upgraded features. Utilize knowledge and experience with React, MVC, JavaScript, SQL, JSON, Jira, and IIS 7.5/8.5.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related field plus one years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
