Role:
Come work on an exciting software development team creating new solutions in our Inventory and Warehouse Management space. This fast-paced team is modernizing our stack and incorporating robotics to manage and deliver faster and more accurate product to our customers. This role will be a proficient software developer, writing software most of the time, in a team setting. While there is plenty of alone time to write software, there are lots of opportunities for collaborating in our designs, shared code base and operational context. This role will also need to partner with Product Management to help shape 'the art of the possible' by learning and contributing to the product roadmap. Finally - this role will help estimate, decompose to iteratively deliver, and keep efforts on track.
Responsibilities:

• Develop, extend and support our Inventory and Warehouse Management capabilities
• Define, develop, and maintain secure and responsive web services and APIs to support our internal tools platform
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules
• Build high quality, intuitive UI/UX experiences
• Extend and/or replace legacy code in a purposeful and well-documented manner.
• Work closely with management and stakeholders to gather requirements, decompose work into iterative delivery, estimate work and collaborative keep efforts on schedule
• Become proficient in inventory and warehouse domain to partner with Product Management in developing solutions
• Have a positive impact on our culture and our code

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional development experience
• Solid understanding of web architecture, API design, object-oriented programming and coding best practices
• Solid understanding of database schema design, queries, indexing, archiving data
• Understanding of the fundamental design principles behind scalable and secure application development
• Must possess a high degree of integrity and trust
• Excellent analytical ability, natural curiosity and problem solving aptitude
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
• Experience gathering and documenting requirements for new projects
• Proficiency with HTML5/CSS/Javascript
• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• Professional experience with Laravel Preferred
• Professional experience developing with Php, MySQL, NGINX Preferred
• Knowledge of continuous integration development environments Preferred
• Experience creating new user-interfaces from requirements, and an interest in UX design Preferred
