The Level 3 Software Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance complex and diverse software systems in accordance with documented requirements.
• Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team to meet project goals.
• Review and test software components, ensuring strict adherence to design requirements, and thoroughly document test results.
• Efficiently resolve software problem reports to ensure optimal system performance.
• Utilize appropriate software development and design methodologies that align with the development environment.
• Provide valuable input to the software components of system design, including hardware/software trade-offs, software reuse, and considerations for using Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-Shelf (GOTS) instead of new development.
• Engage in requirements analysis and synthesis, contributing insights from the system level down to individual software components.

Qualifications:

20 years of relevant experience and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph
