About The Job

Infillion is seeking a Full-Stack Software Engineer to add to our NeXt Platform team. The NeXt Platform is responsible for building and supporting backend services and user experiences driving the location-based advertising experience. We own the full-stack of critical campaign management and optimization tools through the customer-facing, self-service NeXt Hub tool. As Infillion continues to evolve, so does the need to stay at the cutting edge in self-service functionality and lower the friction to launch new campaigns and analyze performance. You are responsible for realizing useful new features and supporting existing functionality across the entire stack.

What You’ll Do

• Develop scalable technology at the heart of our location-based advertising business using data to drive informed decisions
• Own the product and customer experience, collaborating with Product Management, QA, and Design frequently
• Be an example of high standards of code quality, such as testing and documentation, and encourage the same in the team
• Collaborate closely with other engineers to judge design approaches, prototype new technology, and evaluate technical feasibility
• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents and errors faced across our service stack

What You Have

• 4+ years of complete software development life cycle experience
• 3+ years of proven experience with Ruby on Rails web services development, and scalable backend architectures
• 2+ years of proven experience with React, TypeScript, HTML5 / CSS / JS, and/or other modern approaches to frontend development
• Prior experience developing web applications focused on simplifying customer workflows
• Proven experience developing and integrating JSON APIs and defining API contracts that support an excellent user experience
• Experience working in fast-moving Agile teams using Scrum or Kanban
• Experience with major AWS technologies (S3, CloudFront, etc.)
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / STEM or equivalent experience in the software development field

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of authentication/authorization and application security (OAuth, SSO)
• Experience with configuring and using GitLab/GitHub-based CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with GCP fundamentals
• Experience with delivering solutions in the Advertising Technology vertical
• Familiarity with the IAB standards supporting advertising solutions online such as VAST and VPAID
• Strong knowledge of SQL
