Software Engineer

The Role 

The Software Engineer will work within our Bond Calculations Scrum Team and partner with our Trading System, Data Operations, and Reference Data Teams to enhance our existing bond calculations systems and services.

This will include iterating upon and elevating our existing FINCAD-based bond calculation services as well as playing a key role in engineering our next-generation calculation systems.

How You'll Help Take Us There 

• Design and develop high performance and scalable bond calculation systems and services
• Analyze and implement bond calculation functions for both Domestic, EU, and Emerging Markets (e.g. price, yield, spread, discount margin, accrued interest, etc.)
• Design and develop systems to manage Bond Reference Data

What We're Looking for 

• 3+ years of enterprise software development experience
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• Outstanding Core Java skills
• Basic SQL skills (Microsoft SQL, Oracle SQL)
• Understanding of object0oriented design patterns
• Strong mathematical aptitude
• A passion for collaboration and strong relationship building skills
• Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills
• Strong written, verbal and team communication skills
• Interest in financial markets

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $110,000 USD to $165,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
