The Job:

As a Full-Stack Software Engineer who is passionate about solving challenging problems and providing lasting value to our customers. You will be part of a high-performing organization developing applications to support internal and external customers. This is a great opportunity to participate in the development of state-of-the-art web and mobile-based software applications utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

The Full-Stack Software Engineer must be able to think critically, be attentive to detail, and be focused on the delivery of highly reliable and available applications. Technologies involved include React, React Native, Node, AWS, and Postgres. Diverse interest in technologies will help qualify and differentiate candidates.

• Participate in daily stand-ups
• Work closely with other software engineers, QA, and product owners to solve critical problems and deliver value to our customers
• Participate in all aspects of agile software development, including design, implementation, and deployment
• Simultaneously work independently and autonomously, yet also as part of the engineering team
• Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
• Develop new features and infrastructure in support of rapidly emerging business and project requirements
• Ensure application performance, uptime, and scale, and maintain high standards for code quality and application design

The Right Fit:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related, equivalent experience
• Successful track record as a software engineer for at least 1 serious product with significant production customers
• 3 years of experience with multiple software programming technologies including significant web-based application development experience, and related technologies
• Experience with React, React Native, Typescript, Node, Knex/Objection, or other modern frameworks and technologies
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or other relational database management systems
• Familiarity with AWS (VPC, EC2/ECS compute services, lambdas/serverless, security, etc.)
• Prior working experience on teams using Agile methodologies, especially Kanban
• Experience with unit and functional and integration testing, code coverage, and tools just as Jest or Vitest
• Exposure to direct-to-consumer product development or eCommerce APIs such as Shopify is a plus
