About the Team

Our Product & Technology organisation drives the development of Trustly’s products. The teams collectively work with innovative ideas, development of products and platform and set the vision and strategy. The Product & Tech department consists of about 180 people.

About the role

To further strengthen the team responsible for one of our core backend services, we are now looking to hire additional Software Engineers experienced in Golang.

You will be part of a transformative journey where we're re-building our backend API in Golang and move business-logic out of our main database to enable further growth.

What you’ll do

• In your role as Software Engineer, you will play a key role in developing, maintaining and improving one of our core backend services
• Be a part of our development team and build new product features, as well as our next-generation platform
• Participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure alignment and efficiency
• Participating in code reviews, writing unit tests, and ensuring code quality and best practices
• Contributing to architectural decisions and technical discussions
• Share your knowledge and experiences to foster a culture of learning and growth within the team

Who you are

• 3+ years of experience working with Golang and building robust and scalable systems in agile environments
• Experienced working with cloud based solutions (preferably AWS)
• Experienced with high-availability, high-transactions systems in production is a plus
• Passionate about working in a DevOps environment, considering ownership and excellence as fundamental parts of development
• Fluent in English
