Software Engineer

Software Engineer (Bentley Systems, Incorporated: Philadelphia, PA): Utilize C, C++ and C# development languages experience to design and develop both software product applications for market sale; create, enhance, and maintain multiple software product lines, and participate in the full lifecycle of development, from specification and design through implementation, test, and support; participate in defining and interpreting feature requests, documenting those requests in functional specifications, and designing specific products and features for stability, usability, and maintainability; use the latest development tools to turn the designs and to actual software products that are stable, maintainable, and well-documented; perform unit testing and provide guidance to the certification group; maintain existing code base and provide assistance to the support group; develop mobile applications. No travel required.

Req. US Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, or foreign equivalent. Experience or academic background with C, C++, C++/CLI, and C#, Java, JSON, XML; Deep understanding of object-oriented programming; ability to write highly efficient algorithms; understanding of computer graphics concepts and 3D rendering; building distributed data-intensive applications. Familiarity with distributed version control systems, debugging techniques, various operating systems including Windows, Android, and iOS, as well as cloud services (Microsoft Azure).
