We’re hiring a Software Engineer that will focus on back-end development to continue to innovate for our fast-growing, award-winning managed service product, Cosmos (formerly known as CAST).

About Cosmos

Identifying and responding to emerging security threats quickly and effectively is a priority for all businesses, but conflicting priorities, tools that produce too much noise, or insufficient resources can often slow security teams down. Cosmos helps you pinpoint, validate, and respond to emerging threats –before an attacker has the chance to exploit them.  

The Cosmos platform curates 75 different data sources and proactively flags potential critical and high-risk issues. Your Experience

In addition to the above, the following is a list of skills and traits that describe you. If you have most of these, we’d like to speak with you:

• 2-5 years of software development experience
• Experience in server-side development language(s) - Golang experience required (personal projects or professional)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience preferred
• Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL) - PostgreSQL preferred
• Previous experience in developing or software engineering
• Understanding of secure coding practices
• Interest in or experience with machine learning is a huge plus
• An interest in cybersecurity would be ideal
• A degree is nice to have, but by no means a necessity
• Emotional intelligence + ego-less intelligence
• Flexibility: you adapt to dynamic environments well
• Autonomy – you work well on your own
