Software Engineer

What your impact will be:

• Design, develop, maintain and support all software components across NorthStar product line
• Manage the day to day activities of the direct reports and ensure this aligns with the team’s priorities
• Provide mentorship and training to direct reports
• Ensure that the team deliveries high quality code on time
• Provide detailed documentation in design, implementation, deployment, and repair decisions
• Provide status reports on progress of activities within the development team
• Perform performance reviews for direct reports and other
• Ensure that the quality of the code produced by the team is consistently high
• Conduct requirement discussions and development estimations for deliverables
• Provide assistance to professional services and support teams
• Provide resolution to defects and investigate and resolve production support incidents
• Recommend and implement improvement to development, integration and support practices and processes
• Apply configuration management, version control, best practices and standards

What we are looking for:

• Experience with Core Java, JSP, Servlet, Tomcat, SQL Server, JavaScript/jQuery, CSS.
• Handling Multi Browser Applications, SOAP/Restful web service
• Good knowledge of multi-threading, file handling
• Should possess good architectural knowledge and be aware of enterprise application design patterns.
• Should have the ability to analyze, design, develop and test complex, low latency client-facing applications.
• Strong Interpersonal skills to work with customers and internal teams to successfully complete projects
• Good communication; written and spoken skills
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Quick Learner and should be ready to learn new technology
