Job Description
Torch Technologies is seeking talented engineers, scientists, and mathematicians with artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML) expertise. Our team is leveraging advanced machine learning techniques to provide innovative solutions for the Army's most complex missile defense challenges. Our success is fueling our growth, and our growth is fueling our need for additional personnel. Job satisfaction is vital to our team; if you are a fun-loving professional driven by the need to solve complex problems using machine learning techniques, then you may be an ideal candidate. Our team utilizes a myriad of tools, libraries, and programming languages including MATLAB, Python/Anaconda, Java, and C/C++, to develop machine learning-based solutions. Development and testing are accomplished using a suite of high-fidelity missile defense models and simulations. Our engineers have the unique opportunity to witness their solutions integrated with tactical systems and assessed in real-world live fire test events.
Job Requirements
Required experience:
- C/C++, Java, or Python
- Experience with artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, computer science, physics, mathematics, or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited school and 5 or more years of professional development experience.
Desired experience:
- Modeling and Simulation architectures
- DoD software development
- Team-based Software Development Tools (Git, GitLab, etc.)
- Object-Oriented Design
